I can’t believe that WEC10 is THIS weekend!
I’m heading to Vancouver on Saturday, which means I’ll be spending the rest of this week finalizing my travel arrangements and congress schedule. As a Social Media Guru for MPI, my plan is to provide some useful feedback, via this blog, while attending the congress. There will be plenty to talk about including knowledge sessions, puppy cuddling, a career fair, The Big Deal, Rendezvous, and all the other networking opportunities available to an attendee. Sleep seems to be the last thing on my to-do list.
I’m also so excited to finally meet my fellow social media gurus face to face! If you are interested in meeting us, and many more WEC10 attendees, join us for a Tweet Up, hosted by Meetings Podcast! http://tweetvite.com/event/wec10
You may also be happy to know that MPI will be providing virtual access to WEC10.
- The General Sessions will be broadcast live online for viewing around the globe, with virtual involvement via Twitter with the hashtag #WEC10
- Concurrent sessions and session podcasts will be available the following week in the new member content portal and at mpiweb.org/wec

What else have I been doing?
It was only a few short weeks ago that I was approached by David McKnight and Chris Uschan of Engage365 to blog about my experience as a social media guru for MPI’s World Education Congress (#WEC10). If you haven’t noticed my most recent entries, you can find them here:
I have at least two more parts to this series left to go…keep your eyes on the #WEC10 or #Engage365 hashtag for more stories!
I’ll see YOU in Vancouver!
